Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha city. Drive to Machame Gate for registration and briefings. Start the trek through rainforest to Machame Camp at 3,000 meters. Overnight in tents.
Trek through montane forests, crossing streams and enjoying scenic views. Ascend gradually to the Shira Plateau at 3,840 meters. Overnight at Shira Camp with panoramic vistas.
Climb to the Lava Tower (4,600 meters) for acclimatization, then descend slightly to Barranco Camp. Experience stunning views of the Western Breach. Overnight at Barranco Camp.
Ascend the iconic Barranco Wall, trek through the Karanga Valley, and reach Barafu Camp at 4,600 meters. Prepare for the final summit push at midnight.
Start the summit climb at midnight through the alpine desert. Reach Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters for sunrise over Africa. Descend via Barafu to Mweka Camp for overnight rest.
Descend through rainforest to Mweka Gate for certificates and transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport, completing your successful Kilimanjaro trek.
